We engage in a great spiritual war for lives and souls, but also for the soul of our state and nation. Most of us live our lives oblivious to the slaughter of 25,000 Ohioans annually at Ohio's abortion clinics and doctors' offices, and over a million nationwide.
Even pro-lifers tend to focus on the abortion clinics, but how many thousands of God's children are killed by the "Morning-After Pill" and RU-486? God loves even the most weak and helpless of His children, and when He judges a people, He does so based upon how we treat "the least". We condemn Hitler and Stalin for their bloody Holocausts, but in some ways, is not ours worse? Are not our victims even more weak and helpless than Europe's Jews? Does not our bloodshed pro-voke God's wrath? "Innocent blood defileth the land" (Numb.35; Deut.21).
God's Word tells us how to abate the wrath of God on our land for the shedding of innocent blood. It's justice! As Numb. 35 and Deut. 21 prove, justice quenches divine wrath.
The pro-life movement has been content with abortion regulations that actually dehumanize the preborn and deprive them of justice, but God has raised up Personhood just as he raised up the abolition movement in the era of slavery. We will not settle for less than justice for all of God's children. In this battle, we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against invisible spiritual powers (Eph.6). To fight these forces requires more than pens and petitions, men and money.
One key to spiritual power is fasting and prayer. Jesus said, "I give unto you all the power of the enemy," but when the disciples couldn't conquer a strong-hold, He said, "These kind come not out but by prayer and fasting."
Will you commit to fast and pray for us for three days April 17, 18 and 19? We're calling it the "FAST FOR JUSTICE."
God wants to protect these children now! Not after a dozen elections, not after enough Republican Presidents finally give us a Supreme Court majority. The forty year plan to overturn Roe v. Wade has been a recipe for 55 million deaths and imminent divine judgment. States need to ban child-killing within their own lawful jurisdiction NOW, in defiance of unlawful court decisions. Protecting Ohio's babies is God's will, and God's Word promises us that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and grants our request (I Jn. 5:14-15). Join us in victory over our unseen adversary. Fast and pray with us!
